“We all cook better when we’re cookin’ with gas!”

“Rappin’ with Gas” is song released in 1988 by the National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation as a flexi-disc 7″ single to promote the benefits of cooking with gas. While not credited to any specific artist, the performers in the music video above have been identified as Kris Blumensaadt, Kathie Swenn, Kathi Knupp, John Meadows and Garrett Andrae. The record was later sampled by DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist for their 2001 album Product Placement.
