The Day Thread of the Quetzalcoatlus vs Pteranodon (11/19)

In prehistoric times, Earth played stage to a conflict between the humanlike Valorians and the decidedly non-mammalian Rulons. Both sides used dinosaurs and other reptiles as war steeds.

One Valorian, the heroic Yungstar, flew on the back of a Quetzalcoatlus equipped with lasers. Meanwhile an evil Rulon named Rasp rode a Pteranodon armed with lasers and strategically trained to lure enemies into an outboard net trap (though photo evidence suggests that Rasp himself fell into his own trap on at least one occasion).

These two warriors may well have squared off in aerial dogfights. Quetzalcoatlus was generally a larger creature, with a wingspan of potentially over 30 feet, a fearsome foe. Yet perhaps Pteranodon’s smaller size would make for superior maneuverability? It was still very large for an airborne reptile. Then we must take into account the skill and bravery of their respective riders.

Not ever having watched a full episode of Dino-Riders myself, I cannot say who prevails. Anyone here know? 🌋🦖🦅
