Those of you who’d like to post future Creative Endeavors Threads post your request in the comments below. Hey, Kevzero here, I’m an amateur photographer based on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I mostly take wildlife photos, but have been recently taking pictures of many other things. This week: Gulls. Most people, including lots of nature-people, tend to dismiss Gulls as a mere nuisance bird. Since they are common just about anywhere, especially on the coast, they are often overlooked by birders and nature photographers. However some people, myself included, look at Gulls as the beautiful, adaptive, and intelligent birds with a huge variety of species that they are. Gulls are also a great ‘beginner’ animal for anyone looking to get into nature photographer; making for great pictures whether they are gliding in the air or seemingly posing on the ground/water. Here are a few recent pictures I’ve taken of these wrongly maligned birds.
