Howdy, Avocadoans- HP here with the last of the results threads for the 2024 US elections. This is the thread for 11pm-1am EST. Across the country, millions of people have exercised their right to vote, and as the polls close today, media coverage and results will proliferate.

Although we might not know the outcome of all of the voting that culminates today, we will have threads going throughout the evening. In addition to the regular PT, this thread is (hopefully) a convenient place to post results from national and local elections, provide the community with media coverage you’d like to share, and to talk about polls/data/stats, etc.

If you’re feeling more chatty, have other political news, etc, feel free to continue to engage on the regular PT. There aren’t any hard and fast rules here, but one thing I’m going to try in order to keep this thread somewhat searchable (if posts start to come quickly), is to post one song every hour or so. This should give a bit of a visual bookmark so that if you’re wanting to search for things, you can see the YouTube videos and know that you’ve scrolled through an hour or so of posts.

I’m loving all the music/gifs that are being posted today in the PT, but please refrain from gifs/YouTube links on this page! Of course, the exception being if you’re hoping to share a live newsfeed. Just trying to keep this page as functional as possible.
