One of the Prime Reading offerings this month is DC Comics – Creature Commandos.

This monstrous squad is led by Lt Matthew Shrieve and comprised of the following members

Warren Griffith – a man who can transform into a werewolf and reverts to his human self at the most inopportune times.

Sgt. Vincent Velcro – a soldier experimented on to get out of a sentence for assaulting an officer. He is a vampire that can transform into a bat and needs blood to quench his thirst.

Pvt. Elliot “Lucky” Taylor – a soldier caught in a land mine and blown to bits but put back together. This patchwork man has a big heart and torn between fighting in the war and doing the right thing.

Dr. Myrna Rhodes – a war time doctor whose hair is transformed into snakes like Medusa. She cannot turn others into stone like the mythological creature of old.

These stories have been a fun read on the Road to Halloween and a great way to prep for the animated cartoon that is scheduled to be released shortly.
