Living primarily in northern Madagascar, the Gold Dust Day Gecko (phelsuma laticauda) reaches four to five inches in length, eats fruit, insects and small invertebrates, and has wonderfully bright coloring. It’s like Sunny D in lizard form.

As a couple of those photos indicate, this gecko has been imported to Hawaii, among other places, though its home territory is on islands off the east coast of Africa.
