I don’t have any deep Yu-Gi-Oh lore for you, and the only Hello Kitty fact I can offer is the disturbing knowledge she’s not actually a cat. I just wanted to appreciate that we live in a world where “Happy Meal exclusive collab” is a thing that exists, and the insanity of names like “Tuxedo Sam X Obelisk The Tormentor”. I went to McDonald’s earlier this week and got a “Hello Kitty x Dark Magician”, which seems somehow simultaneously way off-brand, and exactly on-brand. We’ve come a long way from the days when my Happy Meal came with the Tasmanian Devil dressed up as The Flash.
