The big news from the wrestling world was the passing of Kevin Sullivan. He was one of the most iconic Florida wrestlers of the ’70s and ’80s. He had a Satanic gimmick that he kept up 24/7. Most wrestling fans remember him for his insane WCW run in the ’90s, where he ran the Dungeon of Doom and feuded with Hulk Hogan. Most adult fans (both at the time and now) hated it but I’ve read so many ’90s kids reminiscing about it the last few days.

He’s also known, less happily, as the man who booked his own divorce. He was booking the show at the time and ran an angle where one of the wrestlers in WCW was implied to be cheating with Sullivan’s real wife. Because he was an old school guy, Sullivan had his wife and the wrestler go out to eat with each other. But they fell in love for real and she left Sullivan. Tragically, that wrestler was Chris Benoit and we all unfortunately know what happened next. Some morons have tried to claim that the murders were actually committed by Sullivan as part of a Satanic ritual and these people can eat all of the dicks.
