Okay, first I have to admit I’ve never actually watched this movie. I just love the title and premise so much that I feel like watching it would only be a letdown.

Roux gets it.

Sssssss (1973) stars Strother Martin as a mad herpetologist, Dirk Benedict as his unfortunate lab assistant, and Heather Menzies as Martin’s daughter and Benedict’s love interest. The premise is that Martin, intent on creating a man/snake hybrid, injects an unknowing Benedict with a serum designed to turn him into, well, a man/snake hybrid.

The trailer is pretty amazing though:
