Welcome to the challenge of August, which is going to be all about Time; mostly fiction dealing with Time Travel, but also other topics to do with Time, and the manipulation thereof.
Sometimes time travel is not about going back or forth at all, but about time being frozen entirely, except for a select few. Time can be frozen for either a moment or for ages, it can be triggered deliberately to solve a problem or be an existential nightmare to be escaped, and so todays prompt is about stories involving time being stopped or frozen- what are your favorites and least favorite? When has it best been leveraged for comedy, horror, etc?
Bonus Prompt: What are the best and worst cases of Time Stopping being used as a superpower or ability?
Extra Bonus Prompt: How interactible should the world be during the time stop?
Paradox Bonus Prompt: What would be the best/worst moments/places to get frozen in time for?
