Welcome to the 30 Day Challenge for July, where we’ll be looking at the STEM fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. I originally conceived of the as the Science & Math Challenge so those two categories will get more attention, but we will touch on all of them.

Today we want to know about your favorite number, equation, or statistic. Maybe there’s an important mathematical constant you like, maybe it’s the number of a favorite athlete, maybe there’s a number you enjoy for, um, other reasons. Or perhaps the equation that expresses some important mathematical or physical law just makes you weak in the knees. Or maybe you just like the fact that four out of five dentists agree that you should chew sugar free gum. You get the idea.

Bonus: It would have the title more unwieldy than it already is, but your favorite law or theorem is fair game here as well.
