The Wednesday Politics Thread Issues a Challenge

Hey Politicados! Welcome back to Wednesday! It’s been a challenging few weeks in the PT. After the debate, there’s been no shortage of takes suggesting that Biden drop out or be replaced. And so that’s been the dominant topic, understandably, but I know it’s also been difficult for many posters to engage with.

So I thought today I’d challenge you: Unless there is meaningful news or changes on that front, why don’t we avoid another day of discussing “Is Biden too old?” and “Why does the media keep talking about Biden being too old?” There’s a lot of news in the world, there’s a lot going on, and there’s a lot to talk about. Let’s see if we can avoid falling into the media’s trap of endlessly discussing and rehashing the topic.

Obviously I’m not a mod, so this isn’t any sort of official decree. It’s just a challenge and request to focus on other topics today. Here’s a few longform articles that might spark some interest and discussion:
