Hey Politicados. I know it’s been a tough week. Here’s your daily politics thread, but please remember the mod notices from this week. Reiterating from yesterday:

On behalf of the mods and the community, we’re asking you to please, please think before you post. While it’s a good thing that people are asking honest questions and having discussion about the recent significant SCOTUS rulings, etc, what we don’t need are people putting their own need to doompost/post bad takes above a community that should be about civil discourse, community support, sharing resources/articles (with context, cause it’s helpful!), etc.

Please consider taking a break if this isn’t what you want from this space- this responsibility should be shared by everyone here. The mods have seen a noticeable uptick in aggressive posts/flagging/general ill will, and while I get that we all have a process for dealing with the news, the good of the community should be respected/prioritized.

Take care of yourself and one another. And be kind and thoughtful today. Cheers.
