This week’s prompt: A whole ton of creators in the D&D/TTRPG YouTube space have gotten together this week to celebrate Kraken Week. As co-founder Ginny Di explains, it’s like Shark Week but for D&D. Creators are posting videos this week on any kind of ocean or underwater theme (not just the actual Kraken). There are videos on homebrewed merfolk races, ship-to-ship combat rules, undersea adventures, and yes a couple of different takes on the legendary Kraken itself. I thought I’d join in with this week’s discussion prompt: Tell us about your favorite underwater adventures or encounters in D&D, or any other TTRPG. And Bonus prompt: What are some good ocean-themed non-RPG tabletop games?
