It’s been a while. Lots of sports threads to keep up busy. But while there is no longer any sort of summer doldrums – and there weren’t many of those even before the WNBA and the soccer leagues added to things – it is, for just a moment, a bit quieter. The important free agents are signed, the important coaching positions are filled, the Euro Cup has a couple of days off, the Cricket World Cup is done. Time to take stock just a bit. Time to say, “what up, Sportacadoes!”
