This week’s prompt: In a recent video, D&D YouTuber Ginny Di looked back at her first ever D&D character and pointed out all of the mistakes she fell into when she first started playing the game. I highly recommend all of Ginny’s videos, and this one is full of advice for building and playing a character who fits in to the story and world the DM has created. I’ll keep my actual prompt a little more general, though: Do you remember your first TTRPG character? And as a bonus question, do you think you’d build that character the same way now?
