Deep in the heart of Korok Forest, all is not A-OK.
“aaaaaaaaaAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH.” The small figure, scratched up and wearing tatters of a once-elegant uniform, bursts through the trees. He barely has time to shriek out “Dekuuu!!!!!!” before a pair of red eyes drag him back into the woods.
The Great Deku Tree lumbers into view. “Beedle?”
“Run Forest!”
**
Deep in the back-most booth of Hyrule’s sketchiest inn, all is not A-OK.
The Dungeon has played host to several… unique social functions since its founding — perhaps none so unique as the one taking place in the birthday-boy booth in the dingiest corner of the oldest inn in Hyrule. The layers of dirt piled up on the faux-wood surfaces speak to the popularity of birthday celebrations in The Dungeon.
There sits one brooding old man with hair down to his waist and a glint in his bloodshot green eyes.
One rather youthful, grinning elf with a conspicuous lack of skin and an inconspicuous ability to blend into the dark shadows of The Dungeon.
Rounding out the bunch is an armor-clad knight curled up in the corner of his laminate bench. A flimsy triangular birthday hat sits lopsided on his head. The shadow man has almost certainly placed it there; his grin shines through the dark mist swirling around their table. With a herculean effort, the armored individual reaches up and bats the party hat off of his head. It hits the ground and quickly becomes integrated into the ever-growing parade of shadows leaching out of the birthday booth.
A deep rumbling emerges from within the throat of the infernal knight, followed by three words:
“I. AM. POWER…”
The reverberation succeeding these three words carries enough force to shatter most of The Dungeon’s trademarked Chain-Chomp shaped pitchers, spilling tens of rupees of beer onto the “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Floor!” The single remaining patron of The Dungeon sighs, takes a sip from his hip flask, and decides to try his luck at The Bokoblin’s Backside across the street.

Deep in an undisclosed location, all is not A-OK.
In his heart of hearts
A demented soul resides
May he find his peace
Ere the world is exorcized.
Ready or not,
Recognize the fall.
Or else the demon shall.
Rule over all.

ROLES
OTHER (game begins with 2 Others)
Error (Serial Killer [SK]): If the SK successfully completes three Night Kills in a row, everyone dies, and the SK wins. If the SK dies, a Vanilla Townsperson will become the new SK (by RNG) that Night. A new SK resets the clock. Error can target the same player multiple times in a row. If Error successfully targets a player for Night Kill, even if that player is targeted by multiple factions, it counts towards Error’s win condition. If Error gets an extra kill one Night, it still only counts as one. If one Error wins, all Errors win.
Beedle: Gives All-Purpose Bait (APB) each Night to another player. The power is RNG (Beedle chooses the recipient, but the power is RNG afterwards). Beedle will know if the APB went through but not which power was chosen. Beedle wins with Wolves or Town. If Error wins, Beedle dies. Beedle cannot give APB to themselves; Beedle cannot give APB to the same player two Nights in a row.
RNG Beedle Options:
-Graveyard (pre-RNG, Graveyard players/spectators decide the power [mods have veto]
-bulletproof armor (either Day or Night, person must call it)
-motion sensor (can tell if another player does something at Night)
-extra life (will resurrect if killed that Night, even if hit multiple times)
-cooking demonstration (harmless)
-boomerang (any Night Action on Beedle’s target reflects back on Beedle)
TOWN (game begins with 16 Town)
Old Man – Bestows sword (one-shot vig power) on another player of their choice, every other Day, starting Day 1. Cannot target self, cannot target the same player more than once. Must name target in Discord before Twilight.
Great Fairy – Town Healer (can protect one player at Night from Night Kill or Recruitment, doesn’t prevent Night Action by that player). Cannot protect self, cannot protect same player two Nights in a row.
Impa – Town Bodyguard (can take a Night Kill for a player of their choice)
Great Deku Tree – Town Investigator (can investigate one player each Night to learn whether they are Wolf, Town, or Other)
Sheik – Backup Town Investigator (can either inherit the Great Deku Tree’s notes if the GDT dies but conduct no further investigations or continue to investigate but not inherit notes)
11 Kokiri Forest Villagers – Vanilla Town: “You are a resident of Kokiri Forest Village. You’re adorable, but your only power to start the game is your vote.”
Town wins upon eliminating all Wolves.
WOLVES (game begins with 3 Wolves)
Note: The Wolves kill as a group, but any kill attempt by the Blue Knight is done solo.
The Infernal Knight – gains power the longer they live (Night 1 [Orange] = block power / Night 2 [Red] = investigative power / Night 3 [Blue] = extra kill power but only goes through if Error or Beedle is the target and not otherwise blocked. Then the cycle resets. If the Knight dies, Ganondorf gains the Knight’s abilities but resets at Orange.)
Ganon – can recruit Vanilla Town Day 1 onwards to become Ganondorf (if recruitment fails, gets to keep trying)
Shadow Link – reads as Town, gains Ganon’s power if Ganon dies before recruiting
Ganondorf — Wolf recruit, gains Knight’s ability if Knight dies (Vanilla Wolf otherwise)
If the game goes to KOBK, and the Day Kill is not a Wolf, that will end the game.
RULES
Wolves share a chat. Others do not.
Night actions will generally be ordered to maximize successful actions.
If a player or faction does not submit a mandatory Night action by the deadline, the Night action will be determined by RNG. Note: I know we all live in different time zones; if the posted Twilight time or Night action deadline will be difficult for you, please just let me know, either on the thread (@forget_it_jake:disqus) or in Discord.
Vote in the Vote Thread (sort by Oldest). Only votes in the Vote Thread will count. You may change or retract your vote until Twilight. Please post nothing but votes in the Vote Thread.
No editing or deleting posts on the Day Threads. Editing in Discord is allowed.
Do not directly quote, copy/paste, or screenshot Discord posts on the game threads.
No game-related talk after Twilight.
Try to post at least three times per game Day.
Role playing is welcome but not required.
Be kind. Critique arguments, not players. Site rules still apply to Werewolf, and sometimes what feels like just part of the game to one player can feel very personal to another player.
TIES: A tie for the vote lead at Twilight results in a random player (from amongst all surviving players) being struck by lightning (Day Killed by RNG).
Have fun!
