What are some artists that you respect, but whose influence on music you view as a negative?

Just in case you were wondering, I only chose Type O Negative for this week’s header on account of having the word “negative” in their name. If anything, I think the way they incorporated diverse influences into their music – combined with an actual sense of humor – makes their influence a very positive one on the metal genre and music as a whole. Also, 48 years old is too damn young – you are still missed, Peter Steele.
