Welcome to the 30 day challenge of May, which sees a return to two of the most iconic things in pop culture, to say nothing of Science Fiction, namely Star Trek and Star Wars. Throughout this month some prompts will be general and apply to both franchises, while others will be Trek/Wars specific, as indicated.

Today is a Star Wars specific prompt as we revisit the topic of “canonicity”; Both franchises have various ways of massaging their Canon, but only one decided to consign a massive chunk of its material to “legends” status. Some of said material has started to worm its way back in though, and todays prompt is what, or who, you would like to see re-canonized from the STAR WARS Legends material? Both if it could actually fit within the new canon, or if its inclusion would override aspects of it altogether.
