Recently, Atari announced they will be relaunching the Infogrames Brand as a Game Publishing Label. The complicated corporate history here is the current “Atari” was originally Infogrames from 1983-2009, a French video game company. They purchased the Atari brand in 2000 and gradually/confusing transitioned into becoming Atari. But now they will also be Infogrames sometimes.
