I feel like I may be the only person here who knows about the existence of this thing. I discovered this when I started listening to Weird Al almost 15 years ago.

Weird Al’s Guide to the Grammys is a television special on CBS that aired right before the 1986 Grammy Awards. It was only broadcast once and was never in any home media format. It lives on in YouTube.

The special is basically a network television version of AL TV, Weird Al’s recurring take over of MTV where he plays the music videos of his choice mixed with comedy bits. Al even did his “interviews” gig where he would splice an interview of an artist as if the artist is talking to him. The special also have some Grammy trivia’s in-between of each segments of the special.

Like I said, the special is only available on YouTube, and also low quality.
