Write up is for flavor and not intended to hint at anything

It was hard being an investigator in the dark side of Sweet Sweet Canyon. Neverthless, Bigfoot P.I. was up for the challenge, working hard to solve the mysterious deaths of the racers. The official word is that they were all accidents. The deaths of a few bad actors were not at all related to the accidents of the racers. Racing is a dangerous sport, there is always some risk involved. But this P.I. knew better and had been poring over photos he took at some of the races.

Bigfoot started to notice clues he had missed before quickly gathering his notes and jumping into his car in order to alert the authorities. Out of nowhere a blue shell hit him from the side, badly injuring him. His notes scattered across the track. Bigfoot lay there until everything went dark. In the distance he heard, “Huh! DK! Donkey Kong! DK!” The beauty of the music filled his soul, it was so beautiful he knew it could only mean one thing. Bigfoot drove off into the darkness, shrouded by a cloud of mist. He was no more.

Marlowe has died. He was Donkey Kong, a Racer (Town).

Role Description: Each Night you must choose a player. They will be sent a video of the DK Rap. If at least half of all players remaining at the end of the game have received the video, you will win regardless of your team’s status or whether you are alive or dead.

The Racers (Town)- 5 players

  • Win condition: All Scum (Saboteurs + Serial Killer if applicable) are eliminated

The Saboteurs (Wolves) – 2 players

  • Win condition: The number of surviving non-Saboteurs is less than or equal to the number of surviving Saboteurs

Other Factions

  • Serial Killer(s) and/or Independent(s)
Drafting Process

1) The list of roles are included below. Role descriptions will only be provided publicly after that player’s death.
2) Each player sent the mods a ranked list of at least their top five preferred role names through Discord.
3) After all lists were received, the mods looked at all the first choice roles. If any player chose a unique role (a role not selected by anyone else) as their first choice, they were assigned that role.
4) If two or more players selected the same role as their first choice, that role was assigned to one of those players at random.
5) If any players had not received a role after the first round, the mods turned to those players’ second choices. This process repeats until the lists have been exhausted.
6) If any players had not received a role after all of the lists were taken into account, they were randomly assigned one of the remaining unclaimed roles. Everyone gets a role!
7) Faction alignments were decided after all roles were assigned.

  • Donkey Kong, Jr.– On night 2 or 3, could give a player an extra vote the next day

  • King Boo– Serial killer with 3 possible win conditions if they remained alive

  • Luigi – Jailer with a shared chat.

  • Shy Guy – Role blocker that could prevent a player from using any Night actions.
  • Toad- Every other night, Toad could target 1 player and receive their target’s role name and abilities.
  • Toadette – Tracker that could find out the night action of their chosen player
  • Waluigi

  • Wiggler
  • Yoshi – The first time they are targeted by a non-investigative Night action, they counter it back on its originator.
Additional Rules
  • No quoting or screencapping from Discord.
  • You cannot edit any of your posts.
  • Ties are decided by RNG.
  • Order of Night Actions: Redirecting > Blocking > Jailing > Tracking > Investigating > Killing > Healing > All Other Actions
