First Appearance – House of Secrets #61

Bruce Gordon attempted to study a solar eclipse when he ran afoul of a sorcerer named Morphir. Bruce did not walk away from this encounter unscathed as he was scratched by a mysterious black diamond. Bruce was cursed. During any eclipse, Bruce would be overtaken by a villainous alter ego called Eclipso. This transformation would cause a blue circle that would appear over the upper two thirds of his face.

Do not attempt to handle any diamonds today.
