Happy Easter to those who celebrate today! Weird that Passover is almost a month later (wasn’t that the occasion for the Last Supper?). And Orthodox Easter is a week later so there’s that too.
If you’re doing a special dinner what is it? My wife is Jewish, I was raised Catholic, neither of us are religious in the least. We’re playing a gig in the early afternoon and inviting friends over later for ham and Swiss sandwiches on rye. A friend gave me a spiral sliced ham. I’ve never been responsible for one of those before so I’ll play it safe and follow the directions. Two sourdough ryes in the oven right now, potato salad and carrot cake round out our end of things.
