30 day Platformer challenge day 8: Lives, checkpoints and continues

Hi there! If you’re joining us now, the month of march is gonna be all about platforming games – 2D, 3D, maybe even 2.5D.

Todays prompt is about the ways the games dole out consequences for death, and keep tabs on your number of tries. This can range from games featuring a strict number of Lives with only rare chances to recover them, to games offering unlimited tries for each challenge
