Last round was another string of overwhelming victories and crushing losses. The closest matchup was Raiders of the Lost Ark vs. The Road Warrior (52 to 27), and when the closest match is one vote away from the winner having twice as many votes as the loser, that’s saying something.

We also had Aliens beat Big Trouble in Little China (53 to 22), The Terminator beat First Blood (61 to 15), and Die Hard beat Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (70 to 13!).

So it looks like John McClane, Ellen Ripley, Indiana Jones, and Sarah Connor make it to the Semi-Finals, while for Mad Max, Jack Burton, John Rambo, and Dr. Henry Jones, Sr., the tournament is over.

Anyhoo, we also finished our Runner Up Contest last round. And while I doubt Bloodsport would have fared very well in the tournament proper, you all voted it as the best of the films to almost get nominated, triumphing over Superman II (39 to 20).
