Shu Mai was a female Gossam who served as Presidente of the Commerce Guild during the final years of the Galactic Republic. As a member of the Separatist Council, Shu Mai was obsessed with status and power. She opted to join the Confederacy after being convinced by Dooku on Geonosis, despite her initial doubts.

She and the entire Council were slaughtered by Darth Vader on Mustafar when he visited the planet following the end of the Clone Wars.[2]
