I finished Hickman and Checcetto’s Ultimate Spider-Man #1 and I really enjoyed it.

I borrowed Brian Michael Bendis’ Ultimate Spider-Man Volume 1 via Prime Reading and I figured we would talk and discuss that run during today’s chat.

We can discuss the similarities and differences between Ultimate Spider-Man and the 616 Spider-Man. Bendis and Bagley would dethrone Lee and Kirby with consecutive issues worked together on this run.

Does anything still stand out for you on this title? What was a breath of fresh air for you? What didn’t work for you?
