Breaking the Habit

During the Dry January thread there was discussion about continuing on and doing a Dry February, or creating a thread that went beyond alcohol to think about other habits people might want to eliminate, adjust, or just change.

So here’s a place to discuss all that: to share tips, battles, and triumphs; to ask for support or advice; or to vent without a response if that’s what you need in the moment. If you’re recognizing that your relationship with food, alcohol, drugs, exercise, et al, might need tweaking, this is the place for you.

I’m going to run it weekly for a while and see if it’s helping people. Currently the plan is to post on Thursdays.

The one thing we want to avoid is triggering other people in the thread, so please try to avoid rhapsodizing about potentially harmful alternatives to your own struggle.
