This week’s recommended discussion:  overshadowed.  Which books, characters, or writers have been overshadowed?  Is a book’s reputation larger than its actual merit?  Has one superstar book eclipsed a writer’s other works?  Has a character become so popular they force the writer to overuse them or keep them around too long?
