30 Day Animation Challenge Day 13: Your Favorite Eurasian Animation Film

While Disney was largely synonymous with animation in the West for decades until Pixar came along, there were other studios and folks producing things as well – and especially outside of the United States. For this challenge, we’re expanding things a good bit but also putting a touch of a limiter on it. We want to talk about animation projects from Europe and Russia while also allowing for Chinese and other Asian countries excluding Japan since we’ve had a bunch of big anime challenge questions before.

For me, this still comes back to the Watership Down film that Isaw at a young age which really just hit me squarely and leaves me gutted most times I end up coming across it again and taking it in. Just everything about it is hugely evocative with its atmosphere and sound design that it pulls me in.

Bonus Question: Which one works the least for you?
