Politics are in almost every show when you get down to it but we’re talking about ones focused on it and things surrounding it pretty clearly. I had grown up watching shows like Benson and seeing politics through that 80s Reagan-esque view and how comedy handled itself back then and then through a whole host of other shows. While I haven’t been able to rewatch it these last couple of years because of the state of the world, Parks and Recreation was a show I came into late, binged the hell out of, and just absolutely loved for everything it did. Parts aren’t holding up well for several reasons but there’s such great talent here that delivered the right message that I’m looking forward to there being a time when I can revisit it.

Bonus Question: Which show just utterly falls flat in handling this subject right?
