Comfort Food Thread 5/17

What is comfort food to you?
When I was a kid things like Kraft Mac & Cheese and Rice-A-Roni were go-tos. My grandmother would make me a dish of spinach egg noodles with butter and Parmesan that was closer to a home-made meal, and my grandfather’s specialty was flinzens- crepes with butter and powdered sugar. Today comfort food carries more of a feeling of indulgence than a memory of meals past and is likely a rich and hearty plate of food.
