Team Momo takes the spotlight by hosting this week’s Marbula One race. This is an interesting course. Where you think things would slow down, they’re actually pretty fast. The curves near the start of the course don’t seem to slow our marbles down too much. It’s in the straightaways later in the course where the competitors really start to lose their speed.
Some marbles, like Clutter of Balls of Chaos, Shock of the Thunderbolts, and Prim of Team Primary, manage to negotiate their way around late-track obstacles so well, you’d think they were pre-cogs, and they don’t suffer from the speed loss. Others, like Sublime of the Limers, go so fast in the first part of the course that it compensates for the speed they lose later. In the end, Prim’s consistent performance wins out, and Team Primary takes pole position for tomorrow’s big race.
