Hey, Kevzero here, I’m an amateur photographer based on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I mostly take wildlife photo, but have been recently taking pictures of many other things. This week: Whales From the Beach! Whales are my favorite thing to take pictures of, especially from the beach. Over the next few months, Whales should be migrating to Cape Cod. Fin Whales, Humpback Whales, and the highly endangered Right Whales will come in incredibly close to the shoreline of Provincetown making for excellent chances to take photos of. Quite often, because of  marine vessel distance restrictions toward the Whales, standing on the beach will be closer to the Whales than a boat can get. It’s still early in the season, but there have been lots of sightings already. The peak for whales is usually from mid-April to late May.

Not the best shot; it’s from before I had a telescope lens, but it shows how close the Whales come to the shore10 Whales11 whales12 whales13 whales14 whales15 whales16 whales17 whales18 whales19 whales20 whales21 whales22 whales23 whales24 whales25 whales
