All Things Cricket: December 10th

There were some good competitions going on during the past week:

  • The WBBL Finals, won by Brisbane for the second year running.
  • The Windies and India played a couple of excellent T20I matches, each winning one.
  • Team USA won both of their ODI matches in UAE, beating the hosts and then Scotland in a fairly big upset.
  • A Sheffield Shield match at the MCG between Western Australia and Victoria was abandoned due to a dangerous pitch, making everyone wonder if it will be ready for Boxing Day.
  • The Ranji Trophy is kicking off this week.
  • Meanwhile, in the Mzansi Super League, all kinds of magic was happening. Leg spinner Tabraiz Shamsi took a wicket for the Paarl Rocks, and produced a magic wand from his hand (pictured). Beat that, Rashid Khan!

Let’s talk about any of it, all of it, or something else.
