*** Tonight’s Night Thread is the 2 year anniversary of my first Night Thread at the Avocado***

Jennifer- Lynn Hayden aka Jade made her comic book debut in All -Star Squadron #25 ( September 1983)

The daughter of Green Lantern Alan Scott and villainess Thorn, Jade’s power is derived from the Starheart, an ancient artifact created by the Guardians of the Universe. She can manipulate the energy from the Starheart to create projections and constructs.

When Jenny lost the power of the Starheart for a time, she was given a power ring by Kyle Rayner and inducted into the Green Lantern Corps. She would be the first female Green Lantern from the planet Earth.

Jade is one of my favorite DC Comics superheroines and I wanted to give her the spotlight in Tonight’s Night Thread.
