Now it’s time for the top 32. With one full round of eliminations behind us things are really heating up. Now that the number of songs is nice and manageable we will no longer be feathering rounds; this round will end Thursday at 10PM Pacific and the Sweet Sixteen will start Friday.

Lots of close ones here; over half of our matches had a margin of 3 votes or fewer. Wily Stage 1 wins in a blowout though; you have to consider it a favorite going forward. Elsewhere, I mentioned Monday that Metroid, along with Zelda 1, was the only game with multiple songs to go undefeated in the round of 64. I guess that was a jinx; two of three Metroid songs go down here. Sorry in advance to Zelda’s two songs.
