Today’s contestants are:
– Daryn, a clinical representative from Nevada, played poker in Las Vegas but doesn’t know James;
– Laura, a librarian from Washington state, “stole” her neighbor’s hungry cat; and
– Ed, a retiree from New York, has a rescue cat but importantly remembered to also mention his wife. Ed is a two-day champ with winnings of $73,600.
Daryn went on a strong run in the back half of DJ and champ Ed suffered a costly score reversal, resulting in a runaway for Daryn at $17,200 vs. $8,000 for Ed and $5,000 for Laura.
DD1, $1,000 – THE NONFICTION BOOK’S TITLE – Made into a Jennifer Aniston movie: “The No-Excuses Truth to Understanding Guys” (Laura lost the table limit of $1,000.)
DD2, $800 – LANGUAGE ISOLATES – Written in cuneiform in Ur, this oldest written language was an isolate (Ed lost $2,800 on a true DD.)

Immediately after $4,000 was deducted from his score on a reversal, leaving him with $400, Ed won the window maximum of $2,000.)

Everyone was correct on FJ, with Daryn adding $1,000 to win with $18,200.
No harm no foul: All three players lost money by committing the cardinal sin of not knowing Canadian geography, unaware that the province with an eastern border with Alberta is British Columbia.
