Between college football season (I’m in the restaurant industry in a Big Ten citadel), my douchebag neighbor who favors dawn’s fundament as the optimal time for balcony conversations, and my campaign to get into better shape, I haven’t been finishing a whole lot, though I’ve certainly been doodling like crazy. It’s gotten to the point where I have to devise a system of small-scale artistic rewards for me to do much of anything, like a recalcitrant dog, which is apparently what I’ve become. This sounds a lot harsher than it feels, and I’m really optimistic about doing a lot in the coming days.

Today’s header image is Faygo, a perfectly fine Detroit soda that deserves better than its current notoriety as a symbol of the Insane Clown Posse. Works both as a weak-ass pun in reference to today’s thread title as well as an occasional creative fuel…
