The Second Wrestling War begins tonight. The first episode of All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite starts live on TNT at 8pm EST. Going up against them is Vince McMahon’s NXT brand, live on USA.

According to their press release, “AEW is giving fans a new wrestling experience for the first time in 20 years. AEW is about more than wrestling. It’s a movement fueled by fans, offering fun, gripping and authentic athletic matches every week.”

Professional wrestling on TNT again is a momentous occasion, as the station once known as Turner Network Television was the host for WCW, the eventual loser of the Monday Night War.

Personally I’m rooting for AEW, as it will showcase some of my favourite wrestlers, including Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson.
