Round 1 featured plenty of blowouts, with 11 of the 13 winners doubling up the loser’s votes. Popular titles like Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong did well, but it wasn’t all name recognition, as one of the biggest blowouts of the round featured relative unknown Super Locomotive’s “Rydeen” demolishing Mr. Do!’s “Level Start/BG (Can Can)”

Now we’re into Round 2. Since this is a Swiss tournament, no one is eliminated. Instead, songs with alike records have been paired together (as best as possible). This will continue for 5 rounds total, at the end of which we should have no more than one undefeated song remaining.
