Remember Songs By The Letter? It was a weekly series of posts from November 2017 to April 2018 where you would list your favorite 25 songs that start with a particular letter. I really enjoyed it. There was an unofficial house rule (not that any rules were ever really enforced) of one song per artist, and to this day I agonize over my decision to go with Dear Prudence over A Day In The Life. Also, there were slim pickings for some letters of the alphabet like Q and X. Still, I found it to be a good way to find and fix gaps in my music collection.

Anyway, it’s been well over a year, tastes change, Avacados come and go (the user who originally started Songs By The Letter was banned shortly after posting C), artists get caught up in #MeToo and have their songs deleted from libraries *cough*Ryan Adams*cough*, so I figured it was time to bring it back.

I’m calling it “Songs By The Letter: Side 2.” I’ll post them Mondays at 2 PM ET, starting with A on August 12. And after Z, I’ll do one last post for songs that begin with numbers or other non-letters. I’m looking forward to it.
