Hey, all; Happy Friday-

 

Not much to say, this week, save for the fact that, if you live on the East Coast on the United States. it’s going to be what could charitably called “fucking hot” for the next few days. And while I’m happy to say that I have access to air conditioning in both my home and my office, that doesn’t change the fact that I’m still going to be forced to wear an outfit for my job that is…Not entirely conducive to comfort in the heat. and there’s part of what I do that requires me to spend extended periods outside; rain or shine. Sadly, my position is one where something like shorts and a T-shirt is frowned upon, and the one time I asked my boss if I could take my shirt off in my office when all our clients were gone, I remember hearing him say something about “H.R.” and “please. God, no.”

How about yourselves? Does physical comfort factor in as well as mental, at your job? Does the occasional Casual Friday make up for four other days of mental and existential angst? Do you at least get a fan? That’s our sub-topic this week; as well as anything else you might need to get off your collective chest.
