Your humble author spent the better part of last week on vacation, swimming in a lake and shooting off fireworks and such, and thus missed probably a lot of news. From “looks like it might rain” all the way through “they arrested Jeffrey Epstein, professional super creep” it’s just a big blank. May we all be able to take such a break now and then, it’s quite refreshing.

But now I’m back, so it’s time to get crackin’.
