With Toy Story 4 now playing in theaters and making us all cry like babies, it feels like a good time to do this. I’ve never done a character tournament before, but I’ve been wanting to do this one for a while, but figured it would be best to wait until after the big Pixar film of the summer opened.

So now we begin with the nominating process, and I don’t think there’s much explaining I have to do here. You can nominate any character from a Pixar film, though I will start the thread by posting the most likely choices immediately. After some consideration, I’ve decided you can also choose characters from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and Planes if you want to, as even though neither was “made” by Pixar per se, they are both still inspired by Pixar properties. You can also, if you so desire, nominate a character from a Pixar short film, but try not to go nuts with that.
