I grew up as a Northern Virginian/Washingtonian. In DC, campaign season is like Oscar season…as soon as anything starts happening…it’s all anyone talks about…so of course there is a lot of buzzing about Trump’s new campaign and all the all the Democrat candidates. Now as a realist, I realize this country has a lot of issues. As a politics watcher, the process of choosing candidates and electing a president always fascinates me if when we get a dud like Trump. So even though we may literally marching toward the guillotine in the November election, I can’t help but be excited about the processes and strategies various candidates will use. Trump came to power by in a lot part taking people who felt disenfranchised (yes yes they deserve to feel that way) and showing them attention…but will it last? Will he be able to get swing voters to vote for him this time? Will the top running Democrats be able to motivate all factions of the party and get the voter turnout to win the election?
Welcome to Wednesday!!!!
