Volstagg, one of the Warriors Three of Asgard, made his comic book debut in Journey into Mystery #119.

Actor Ray Stephenson played Volstagg in the Thor movies.

During Jason Aaron’s run on The Mighty Thor, Volstagg would be deemed worthy to wield Ultimate Thor’s hammer and became the War Thor.

He is currently the host of the Asgardian Destroyer armor and helping the rest of the Marvel Super Heroes save Midgard from the Dark Elf Malekith in the War of the Realms.
