Today, strange things are afoot at the Circle-K.

So beyond the obvious, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure — the movie that finally brings together historical figures like Dave Beeth-Oven, Maxine of Arc, Herman the Kid, Bob “Genghis” Khan, So-cratz Johnson, Dennis Frood, and… Abraham Lincoln — celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Also, I don’t know if this is intentional, but there are apparently 69 quotes attributed to Ted on IMDB. I would not be surprised if this was edited by a time traveling Keanu Reeves.

Their adventures would go on in the form of a movie sequel, an animated show, a live action TV series on Fox, a breakfast cereal, a theme park stage show, and a long rumored third movie which is coming out any day now with an aged Bill and Ted.

It also may have jumpstarted 90’s slacker culture.  Plus, it scored a most excellent call-out in this year’s Avengers: Endgame.
