Daimon Hellstrom aka the Son of Satan first appeared in Ghost Rider #1.

Son of Satan Trivia – “Following the resurgence of monsters in comic books in the early 1970s, Stan Lee pitched the idea of a book in the same vein as Tomb of Dracula, a series titled “Mark of Satan” which would’ve starred Satan himself, presumably acting against heroic figures. Roy Thomas was worried the public wouldn’t accept a book starring Satan as the main character, even if he was a villain, and suggested instead the creation of the Son of Satan.”

Hellstrom fought on the side of angels with the Defenders.

He would fall in love and eventually marry Patsy Walker aka Hellcat.

A live action Hellstrom TV series is slated to be released in 2020 from Hulu.
